Ingredients
1 can chickpeas, drained (reserve the liquid)
2 tbsp tahini
Juice of 1 lemon
1 clove garlic
3 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp ground cumin
Carrot, cucumber and pepper sticks, to serve
Method
Blend the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin and 2 tbsp oil until smooth.
Loosen with the reserved chickpea liquid, a tablespoon at a time, until silky.
Season to taste, then spread in a bowl and drizzle with the last of the oil.
Serve with the vegetable sticks.
Tips & swaps
Blending the tahini and lemon juice together first, before anything else, makes it much creamier.
Keep pre-cut vegetable sticks in water in the fridge so the snack is genuinely grab-and-go.
Keeping it
Hummus keeps 5 days in the fridge.
Track what it does for you
Whether a meal helps is personal. PCOS Ai logs what you eat alongside your symptoms and cycle, then shows which foods line up with how you actually feel — from your own data, not a generic list.
General wellness information, not medical or dietetic advice. Nothing here diagnoses, treats or cures PCOS. Nutrition figures are per-serving estimates. Check with your doctor or a registered dietitian before making significant changes — especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic or managing a food allergy.
