  1. Toss the tempeh with the soy sauce, maple syrup and paprika and leave 10 minutes.
  2. Fry in a hot pan for 8 minutes, turning, until caramelised on all sides.
  3. Whisk the tahini with the lemon juice and 2–3 tbsp water until it loosens into a pourable dressing.
  4. Build the bowls with rice, cabbage and carrot, top with the tempeh, and spoon over the dressing.
